I didn't think it would be tough to find junkyards in Denver, but apparently it is! Most places I've found are auto-focused with sorted inventories. I'm looking for a true junk yard with piles of rusty parts off of god-knows-what to rummage through to find my steampunk components but it's proving difficult.
I did find one place called "Charlie's" that I'm going to check out today, hopefully it'll be a good start. The flea market may be the next stop this weekend in search of sewing machines or clocks or anything I can use the start gather parts for inspiration or later use. If I have time I'll do some initial sketching and post the results as well.
